Wedding Planning & Day Of Coordination
Lynn Lucas is a highly experienced and award-winning (The Knot/Wedding Wire) planner with almost two decades of experience in the wedding industry. In 2021, Lynn was inducted into The Knot Hall of Fame for her multiple accomplishments. With a strong foundation in events (including several years in corporate and nonprofit event planning), Lynn has the breadth and depth of knowledge required to handle a variety of situations that will/might arise at the wedding. With customized checklists (budgets tailored to geographic area, site reports, site analytics, seating layouts, and a shared online project file dashboard), the focus is on giving you the ease of mind you are looking for in order to enjoy your Big Day. Our Day Of Coordination is more of a Partial Planning package, as it includes several meetings where we review your progress to ensure that everything is going smoothly. These meetings begin immediately upon booking - not last minute in the weeks before the event. Our Full Event Planning is a complete approach, where we manage the event planning process yet never "take over" your event - we firmly believe it is your wedding, and we work for YOU. - Investment begins at $1800.00 (discounts available - contact W.E.D for more info)
DJ Services
W.E.D focuses on providing fun yet sophisticated DJ services for your Big Day. Your DJ will be Matt Schultheiss, co-owner and operator of the company. No last minute substitutions with an inexperienced rookie - the person you have been talking to and working with will be your DJ on the Big Day! You will work directly with Matt as needed prior to the wedding, as he carefully reviews all of your musical wishes. An experienced planner in his own right, Matt works diligently to provide superior emcee services, yet knows how to keep the focus on you and your guests. He will "read the dance floor" - striving to keep a full and energetic party all night long! DJ services are for unlimited reception hours and include dance floor lighting and cordless mic. You will receive a detailed planning guide that allows you to detail those songs and music styles you love and those that are simply not to be played at YOUR wedding. Available to W.E.D Clients
W.E.D also offers a fabulous & fun Photo Booth. Our Photo Booth is only available to those who book another service (DJ/Planning/Design) and is available at a highly discounted rate. Photo Booth can be open or enclosed. An attendant, unlimited hours, props, and customized photo strips are all included! (Pricing changes seasonally - contact us for more info.)

Design Packages
The popularity of our design and décor packages is growing every year. With every event we have received rave reviews and sincere thanks for collaborating with our clients on their vision and creating a beautiful atmosphere for the most important day of their lives. In addition to having a strong design aesthetic, we believe strongly in ensuring the logistical needs are met with every design choice.
Our designs are inspired by our clients, and by current and classic trends in wedding design. And most importantly, we provide all of this at flat, affordable rates with the intention of saving our clients unnecessary stress and expensive surprises.
Our floral approach is based on contemporary design rooted firmly in the aesthetic of our clients. We work with our clients to provide beautiful floral enhancements within their budgets, and can offer valuable ideas for substitutions and alternatives in order to align budget with vision. Whether it is Boho Chic, Rustic, Simple and Elegant, or Luxe Formal, or anything in between - we will work closely with you to design an approach that is customized specifically to you. There is no minimum amount you need to spend on floral.
The Design & Décor Package includes a wide range of items, from simple & elegant to lush & lavish to fun & funky. Items can be mixed, matched, decorated, embellished, pared down, and customized to fit your style and season. In addition, we are constantly adding to our décor selection with every new event that we do - so if it isn't in our current inventory, it doesn't mean that it can't be added. We have the classic pieces you would expect, but also quite a few really fun and unique pieces (elaborate backdrops, specialty lighting, special props and truly unique embellishments). Walls of mirrors, milk glass, draping, TARDIS centerpieces, gobos... the list goes on.
One thing that W.E.D pledges to you is that we will not tell you what type of wedding you should have. We are happy to offer our advice, and will always give you guidance, especially with logistics. But we are NOT the type of company who will judge your personal tastes, your "crazy" wishes, or your nontraditional approaches. We love those special touches that will make your wedding unforgettable. W.E.D has gleefully embraced a wide range of twists on tradition. So if you opt for ceremony music by The Beatles over Beethoven, or want to do a First Rock Band instead of a First Dance (complete with Devo hats on your head), we love it all. And we will work with you to make sure that these unique ideas work seamlessly within the framework of your event.
